50 Days Ablaze!
Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006—Pentecost Sunday, June 4th

Welcome to Trinity’s 50 Days Ablaze! web page. During the 50 days between Easter and Pentecost we will be focusing on discipleship and outreach as we devote ourselves to worship, Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and service. Here you can download daily devotions for individuals and/or families, view a list of small group Bible studies, and submit prayer requests.

Small Group Bible Studies
Here is a list of the times and locations of Trinity’s small group Bible studies. Please phone each group leader with your questions. (If you don’t have a leader’s phone number, please call Bev in the church office: 515-279-3609.)

Servant Events
Part of 50 Days Ablaze! is entering into service for other people. The Nehemiah Project in Los Angeles is an Iowa District West outreach to the public schools in which LC-MS missionaries give students backpacks and, in exchange, are allowed to invite them for a Christmas program with an evangelistic message. Some of the backpacks also go to children in Tijuana, Mexico. Each Sunday during our 50 Days Ablaze! we are going to gather school supplies for these backpacks. Place them in the appropriate box(es) in the narthex each Sunday. Here is a list of the items needed. Each week we will put a new box in the narthex, so you can still bring an item later if need be. Contact Dennis Trollope or Vicar Matthis with questions.

Celebration Event
On Pentecost Sunday, June 4th, Trinity will celebrate the completion of the 50 Days with a special event. This will likely involve community outreach and some kind of meal. Stay tuned for more details from Dorothy Garton.

Worship Services

TWO WORSHIP SERVICE TIMES (1/8)
Trinity Lutheran Church has two morning worship services. Worship is at 8:00am and 10:30am on Sundays with Bible study at 9:30am. Holy Communion is served the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 8:00am and the 2nd and 4th Sundays at 10:30am.

Additionally during Advent and Lent: Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m.
